Amandine by Adele Griffin - The new girl in town named Delia meets Amandine who ends up betraying her and creating lies about her family. I don't recommend this book unless you like books that talk about people being betrayed and other things.

A Bad Boy Can Be Good For a Girl by Tanya Lee Stone - Josie, Nicolette, and Aviva go out with and are dumped by the same boy. At the end, they go in together to make sure other girls don't end up the same. I like Josie because she stands up for herself, and tries to warn people not to make the same mistakes she did. - Reviewed by Angie, 13

Be More Chill by Ned Vizzini - Jeremy is a teenager wgi get a squid. It helps him be cool, but then things turn out bad.

Breathing Underwater by Alex Flinn - A boy named Nick goes through anger management class. I recommend this book because it (deals) with something that relates to events in your life. - Reviewed by Monica, 13

Burning Up by Caroline B. Cooney - When Macey decides to research the barn across the street from her grandparents' house, no one will answer her questions. It's a great mystery book for everyone to enjoy. - Reviewed by Amanda, 17

Chicks with Sticks: It's a Purl Thing by Elizabeth Lenhard - Scottie starting knitting and meets Tay, Bella and Amanda and they form the Chicks with Sticks. I don't like the character of Josh because he is rude especially about the fact that Tay likes him. Dancing in the Streets of Brooklyn by April Lune - Judy is startled after learning a secret about her past. It changes her look on the world and will her friends come to rescue her? It was a nice story that made you feel mad and happy at the same time. - Reviewed by Samantha, 15

Dancing on the Edge by Han Nolan - Miracle is raised by her grandmother and is always searching to find the truth. I recommend this book because other teens will seen themselves in this book. - Reviewed by Ashley, 15

The Dead Game by Kevin Brooks - Rueben can sense things happen and sets out to use his information of his sister's murder to find her killer. I like Cole because he doesn't let anything stand in his way, is very defiant and sarcastic, but deep. It was a fast read, full of a sense of captivating mystery. - Reviewed by Kristin, 14

Echo by Francesca Lia Block - Well, Echo is a young girl who goes through many changes in her life. She also meet many other people on her way to life. I learned that drugs and alcohol can really mess up a persons' life. It is just a good book to read in your free time. - Reviewed by Aubrey, 13

Flame by Hilary Bell - Soraya, Jiaan and Kavi are stuggling to survive but they are part of Farsala's fate when they are going to be attacked by a new enemy. I like the character Soraya because she uses what she has to survive and is strong-minded and refuses to give up. - Reviewed by Jasmine, 15

The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman - Lyra has to save her world without being aware of it. She just knows she ahs to find out about Dust, a magical particle. This book is so exciting and has so much excitement you don't know what's going tohappen through the whole book. Reviewed by Karen, 15

Guitar Girl by Sara Manning - Molly Montgomery ends up becoming a rock n' roll star when her band, the Hormones, makes a record deal that changes her life. It really showed me the price of fame, and it's a fun book. Reviewed by Marie, 13

Hit the Road by Caroline B. Cooney - Brittany is her Grandma's chauffer for a crazy kidnapping road trip. I don't like the character of Cooper. He is full of himself and tries to take credit for everything. This book is one of a kind and you can't put it down. - Review by Emily, 16

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams - A normal man, Arthur Dent, is whisked away from Earth in a space ship by his friend Ford Prefect, who, unknown to him, is an alien! Arthur is shy and quiet and ordinary and bewildered by what's happening to him. I can relate to that. It's a hilarious parody of science fiction.

Shadow Spinner by Susan Fletcher - The sultan was killing his wives; that is until Shahrazad came. She tells the sultan a story every night and he lets her live. Now Shahrazad is running out of tales. This (story) makes you think how lucky you are.

Talk by Kathe Koja - A boy named Kit, who's gay, has trouble expressing the fact that he is guy, while people think he is straight and this all takes place while working on a school play called "Talk". Trickster's Choice by Tamora Choice - Aly, a girl with amazing talents, is captured and made a slave when she is forced into an age old power struggle with a god. I recommend this book because it is an amazing tale of adventure and self-realization in a teenager's life.

When My Name was Keoko by Linda Sue Park - WWII is going on an dlife is very hard for Koreans. It is a diary of two children in a Korean family. In the end, the war ends, and Korea becomes free again. I like Sun-hee because even though she may not all do the right thing, she always sticks up for her family, and still has hope that her country will be free. I would recommend this book because it tells how bad Koreans were treated by the Japanese in the war. - Reviewed by Alyssa, 13
